just a brief bit of information on me.
cocker spaniels have been my life for over 9 years,( and i want to thank my friend sandra at (kenalure-cockers) as without her help, my dream to breed this wonderful breed would not have been possible,so a big thank you to you sandra from all of us here at jarbaha cockers ) .i brought my first cocker spaniel jasper..and just feel in love with this wonderful breed,and the cocker spaniel ,well and truely captured my heart, i then brought my first kenalure cocker spaniel,which i infact brought in 5 more( barnaby,harley,bella,tilly & mazie are all kenalure cocker spaniels) and have made a lifelong friend in sandra.i then brought in melody who is from the melgrove line a stunning little dog,and again i have made a lifelong friend in carol,india is one of my home breed cockers, and finally grace from the pontisbright lines,i'm sure there will be a few more new cockers over the years too come.. my cockers bring me so much love and happiness.all my dogs are very much house dogs and much loved family memebers first and foremost and live in my home. i don't have kennels.and i'm quite lucky to have a big garden and lots of fields to walk my dogs in, my dogs have lots of games in the garden and the puppies ( when the weather is nice ) play in too.
i also enjoy having days out at fun/compaion dog shows,with my beautiful dogs.
all my dogs are bva / kennel club eye tested clear.and i now pra and fn test, so your puppy will never get pra or fn.
i only breed 1-2 carefully planned litters a year, or when i wish to retain a puppy for myself.
i DO NOT sell my puppies ( dog or bitches ) for breeding. all will have the progeny endorsment placed on their kennel club registration certificate, and i WILL ask you to sign a PUPPY SALES CONTRACT to state your full knowledge of this.i have this added to all my Jarbaha puppies, to stop them from being breed from, and to stop my puppies ending up in the wrong hands with the wrong people.
puppies need someone at home with them most of the day as a puppy will need to be house trained and taught what is expected of him / her, my puppies WILL NOT leave me until they are 8 weeks old, and will have their 1st vaccination and a full health check at my own vets before leaving me.
i do not sell my puppies to people who work more than 3 hours, please tell me your circumstances when you enquire about my puppies. as this is not fair on a young puppy to be left at home they need contact and training, and to be taught whats expected of them, and a bored puppy can cause destruction.
cockers are great with kids, but do need futher training and socilisation , kids can be rough and pull puppies about, which can / will cause behavioural problems .
i'm also a memember of the cocker spaniel parent club.
DO REMEMBER A PUPPY IS A LIFE LONG COMMITMENT.
